New media is the term used to refer to anything digital or computerised that disseminates information or that is used for communication. This takes into considerarion the internet, your blackberry smartphone as well as that new computer game you just bought last christmas! The printing industry is not the only thing drastically affected by the development of digital technology. The field of photography now abounds with unlimited possibilities thanks to the use of digital technology, which offers a wide variety of colours as opposed to using traditional photographing machinery.
